More About First Capital Connect Trains
You may use split train tickets for travel on all First Capital Connect Trains.
First Capital Connect operates on the UK’s busiest network, with trains between London, Brighton, Bedford, Peterborough, Cambridge and King's Lynn - all of which you may travel on with split train tickets.
First Capital Connect also operates direct rail services from London to Gatwick Airport and Luton Airport for fliers, and serves St Pancras International train station for Eurostar connections to Paris, Lille and Brussels.
Connecting 15 stations across London as well as destinations further afield in the south of England, First Capital Connect operates frequent services out of the UK capital along the East Coast Main Line, stopping at Bedford and Brighton, as well as the Great Northern train line, which connects London stations to Cambridge, Peterborough and Kings Lynn.
First Capital Connect is investing heavily in bicycle storage facilities at major stations, and higher capacity storage locations are clearly marked on the rail operator's cycle restrictions map. Passengers wishing to travel with a bicycle on First Capital Connect trains should contact the rail operator to find out about limitations. Folding bikes are permitted on all journeys if they can be safely accommodated.
